Gainesville Baptist Mission
We are not a shelter; we offer a one-year life recovery program for men. Our mission is to facilitate stability through the teachings of Jesus Christ, discipleship, employment, and savings.
Upon graduation from our program, participants will have learned to maintain a daily spiritual practice with Jesus, secure a job, and save a minimum of $2000, with many accumulating several thousand dollars, and some reaching up to $10,000 within one year.
If you remain interested, I would like to provide additional information about our program. We are a faith-based, Christ-centered organization that emphasizes discipline, structured routines, Bible study, and the teachings of Jesus.
Our program strictly prohibits drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and nicotine, including cigarettes, vaping, and any nicotine products.
To determine your eligibility for our program, please answer the following questions:
- Do you possess a valid state ID?
- Are you physically capable of climbing onto a top bunk and performing hard labor?
- Do you have a recent history of violent crime? If so, when was the conviction, and how long have you been without housing?
- Are you listed on any sexual offender registry?
- Do you have any mental health conditions?
